Synopsis
Commander Elias Thorne is drifting in the dark, his vessel crippled by a catastrophic collision in the deep reaches of the Oort Cloud. With his oxygen scrubbing failing and his long-range comms array damaged, he accidentally pings a random digital address on Earth. As he fights to repair his ship, every byte of data sent home drains the power reserves necessary for his life support. He strikes up a fragile, intimate correspondence with a stranger, forced to choose between the crushing weight of silence and the warmth of human connection as his power levels plummet toward zero.
